I want to be an MSYP as issues surrounding kids are typically overlooked or decided by adults. I believe this should change and I want to be a voice for those who feel misunderstood by adults to build ties so adults can listen to young people concerns without them feel unheard.
Personal statement
I would consult young people in Cathcart by doing surveys to gain the opinions of issues they believe are important, and focus groups to allow for more in depth analysis of why young people believe these issues are important to them.

Health and Wellbeing.
It is important as it determines our health with mental health influencing how we think, and how we act. As well as physical health as it allows for our bodies to function to the to the fullest. Health and wellbeing is essential for people to feel confident and the best they can.
Why Should Someone Vote for You?
I believe people should vote for me as I will not be afraid to speak out for what is right for young people. Through determination, people will listen to what kids believe is right for them allowing for more collaboration between young people and adults.
