Why do you want to become an MSYP
I want to be an MSYP because I know that people are unhappy with the way exams are structured, and feel that they are an unfair evaluation of their abilities.
Why should someone vote for you?
I’m standing to be an MSYP because I want young people to have a stronger voice in decisions that affect their lives. One of my key priorities is improving the exam system, including looking at how assessments can better support students and reduce unnecessary pressure. I also want to listen to young people’s experiences and make sure their views are represented in decisions that affect education and everyday life.
How will you consult with young people in your constituency?
I plan to use a variety of tools including: - - surveys and polls through social media - quizzes and in person tolls - focus groups - suggestion boxes
What are your top three issues from the list given?
Health and Wellbeing, Education and Lifelong Learning, Justice. Education and lifelong learning are most important to me because they shape young people’s opportunities and future. I want to help create an education system that supports every student, listens to their experiences, and reduces pressure from exams while giving everyone the chance to reach their potential.
