Snaha Sajjad
Why do you want to become an MSYP
I want to become a member of the Scottish Youth Parliament because I want to be the megaphone for young people. I want to make sure that every single person who deserves to be listened is listened to. I want to make sure that’s their issues and problems are solved. I want to make sure that’s your voice isn’t ignored that your voice isn’t silenced at all. I will become you voice I will listen to you and stand up for you.
Why should someone vote for you?
You should vote for me because am not just making promises - I have already my work through my school pupil parliament, eco group and local charities. I have proven I know how to stand for our community and get things done. I will make sure that no one is ever ignored. I am ready to take our real issues straight to the people in power.
A vote for me is a vote for someone who will always listen and stand up for you.
How will you consult with young people in your constituency?
People can get in touch with me from my TikTok and Instagram and through my email if u don’t have any of those platforms. Vote for Snaha YSP - that's my name on both platforms .
What are your top three issues from the list given?
Health and Wellbeing, Jobs, Economy and Fair Work, Environment. My most important issue is health and wellbeing because I think young students nowadays isolate themselves and I will make sure that people should always be listened to and are never ignored.
